YouFinder is an initiative by Experiential Living Projects, founded by Rahul Kumar in 2017. Elivingprojects has contributed to the outreach of destinations like Jibhi, Gadagusain in Himachal Pradesh with its projects like Mudhouse Hostels, The fika Homes, Dreamers Retreat, multi disciplinary volunteering programs and life changing events & experiences.

Elivingprojects has been awarded by National Startup Awards in 2020 as Top 5 Travel Startups of the year, We are incubated by IIT Mandi Catalyst Program and has hosted 10k+ travellers, 100+ events and changed lives of 1000+ travellers.

All About us!

When people say that nothing comes over and above family, we believe that. For us, Experiential  living is exactly that. A family of travellers that come from different journeys, and become one. Its a community that shares, cares, and ensures that everyone grows in life, together.  A shelter for those who believe in making meaningful experiences and building bonds. A breather from everyday life to become a space where one could lose themselves completely, without the fear of judgement. A catalyst to helping you find your inner self. A place that simplifies our otherwise complicated lives.

An amalgamation of Co-living and Co-working and Community.

“The whole idea was to start a pocket-friendly hostel, where writers, photographers, editors and others from the creative community could have a space to work in the beautiful Tirthan Valley in Himachal Pradesh. In the same space, they get to meet other creative individuals and collaborate with them,” Rahul told The Better India, back when we had just started. The value is same, only now, we have lot more spaces to welcome you at.

Our Story

Like most people, I too had corporate jobs that didn’t give me fulfilment or a smile on my face at the end of the day. I did take a risk by leaving a highly comfortable, luxury filled life to move to the mountains to create a space where everyone could come to take a break.

Where an engineer could finish that pending novel; where an accountant could talk about numbers on his bucket list; where logical notions could meet dreamy aspirations; where humanity could meet reality again.

We promote healthy collaborations, we talk about sharing skills and working together, we encourage everyone who enters our home to make it theirs forever. We talk about a lot of things that can be done, and at the end give weight to those that have a purpose that benefits the majority fantastically.

Right from the brainstorming sessions over the cups of tea and coffee, over some quick light hearted jokes, to the ideas that actually got implemented, from midnight bonfire conversations to gaining survival skills when brakes fail on mountain tops, we unlearn every moment to learn a lot more.

The primary idea is experiences beyond accommodation, Elivingprojects wants to create experiences beyond your rooms, you will take back a lot of experiences along, you will start understanding slow travel, you will see a joyful world of its own, a safe space for you to be your true self.

This is what motivates us to do better, do more for the environment as well as the community.

What is YouFinder?

A brain vacation for you to breathe better, where you loosen up and pause thinking about ‘life management’. A residency, where you are as close to the ‘real you’ as you are to the rawness of nature. A world where is no timeline, no schedule, no rush to reach anywhere. A chance to experience and cherish the slowness of life; to feel every emotion as it comes to us. A close, safe, intimate space to share your dreams and express your feelings with people who understand.

YouFinder is a one-to-one with life, Strictly a no-hustle zone, where the only thing we chase is ourselves.

Where’s the fun?

Like all the things we do, Mindfulness and conversations would be a core part of your experience at YouFinder. Laughing mindlessly, breathing peacefully, Kayaking in the sea, making new friends for life, exploring the off-roads, experiencing some of the best sunsets from the ocean, chilling in the pool, or loving yourself.

When and where?

YouFinder Retreat is happening in Goa (9th-14th Jan), HP (14th-19th Feb & 14th- 19th March), Sri Lanka ( 18th- 23rd April)

  3. Next morning you will wake up by the sound of birds, where early risers will get to walk to nature trail followed by exploring self and emotions through art and movement we call it unlearning and relearning the art of self, This day we will also explore our interpersonal relationships (contact improvisation). The evening will be lighter, through a fun open mic and live acoustic music.

  4. We will begin the third day with guided meditation and Gratitude, Using breath-work, visualisation and meditation with affirmations to rejuvenate along with  exploration into the wilderness

  5. Fourth day will be all about travel and exploration.

Trust us when we say this- we’re downplaying a lot only because we don’t want to reveal too much too early!

What does it need you to do?

Just be you. That’s enough. Five days of wholesome, effortless, and simple living. Rest your heart and mind. Talk, if you’d like. Stay still, if that makes you happy. Build connections, listen to their life stories. Indulge in art. Do whatever you feel like, as long as it brings you peace and joy.

How do you know if YouFinder is for you?

Living needs efforts and all of us have to keep holding to a lot of things, in order to get by. YouFinder is where you can loosen yourself up completely,

Some would call YouFinder a getaway. For us, it is a life-changing experience

When you are feeling burnt out, when you are feeling exhausted, want to get new perspectives, think away from your surroundings, then you should definitely come to YouFinder

What is the expected footfall?

With YouFinder, we don’t want to go shallow with a lot of people. We wish to dive deep with  a small number. The max number of people will be 15. Because, let’s be honest- we all can really open up in closeness.

In simple words, we have limited seats.
